LiveWorkWell: Spring’s Eternal Hope!

"If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them."

~ Henry David Thoreau

Close your eyes and open your mind! Exploring the frontiers of Universal Healthcare is daunting and overwhelming while at the same time exciting and hopeful because through exploration, without imposing mental boundaries, we encounter innovation that in one instant can go beyond our wildest thoughts and dreams to ‘how did we ever live without that?’. Wellness in the workplace and at home – the delicate balance of these two crucial elements in our lives that is promoted and encouraged by the sensibility and practicality of government incentives - will be instrumental in the rebirth of a Universal Healthcare system. Focusing on a common goal of balance that is achieved through complete wellness of the whole body – mental, emotional, physical and spiritual – will continue to inspire our creative minds to explore and discover what is already in existence, that which lives within us. Working together with equal say while acknowledging that there is no absolute way, no single person, no solitary model or institution that will create this paradigm will surely result in unified confidence and optimism when establishing a harmonious, healthful and cost effective system.

Life is about feeling good but goes far deeper than the fleeting ‘feel good’ instant gratification. We experience and understand the simplicity and lightness of feeling good when we have kind thoughts of someone, treat another with profound respect, and make conscious decisions based upon fairness. This goes hand and hand with bringing and maintaining balance in our lives. Beyond The Bridge is a living resource that will give you the foundation to build your own bridge to where you want to be by teaching you techniques and giving you tools that will help you to manage stress; sustaining and supporting you through life's everyday challenges with integrity, confidence and grace. The Care with YOGA 5K Run/Walk, organized by the Naam Biomedical Society on March 21st, 2010 at Riverside Park, NYC, was a great success - lots of sunshine and laughter - moving hearts, minds and bodies in unison. What a great day and a great way to plant a seed of awareness highlighting the importance of a collaborative and healthful partnership of mainstream Medical Care with Yoga through integration, interaction, education and research. Thanks for your support!
